Blue Spruce Soup Mug - Limited Preorder
$55 | Only 24 available | Free shipping
Apparently I should have made more soup mugs.
I brought a dozen of these to my last art fair, and by noon on Sunday, every single one was gone. So for everyone who missed out, I’m squeezing one more small batch into my October studio schedule.
And as my little apology for not bringing nearly enough the first time around, shipping is free on this preorder batch.
Each soup mug is handmade by me in my Northfield, Minnesota studio and finished in Blue Spruce, a deep blue-green glaze that feels especially fitting for this time of year.
The wide, cozy shape is made for big servings of soup, chili, stew, oatmeal - or whatever else you want to curl up with as the weather gets colder.

Because every mug is made individually by hand, there will naturally be small variations in shape, glaze, and surface from the mug pictured. That's part of what makes each one unique.
Once all 24 are spoken for, this preorder will close.
Thanks for giving these such an unexpectedly great response. I’m excited to get another batch into the studio - and into your hands in time for plenty of cold-weather meals.

Care Instructions
All my pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe, but I always recommend handwashing to keep pieces as safe as possible. Remove any metal parts, such as the wicks in candles, before microwaving.

Meet Wild Tree Pottery
My name is Liam Cofell-Dwyer and I live with my wife, Allison, in Northfield, Minnesota. I started Wild Tree Pottery to make beautiful, functional ceramics meant to be used and cherished for years to come. I love my local community and try to use my art to support it. I also believe in being a good environmental steward, so two trees will be planted for each product you purchase. Thank you for supporting your local artists!
The Pottery Process
Each piece of pottery I make undergoes an intensive process that takes anywhere from a week to more than a month. This process is the result of years of practice and intention, and it yields a final product that is completely unique from commercially made ceramics. To eat or drink from (or simply to display) a handcrafted piece of pottery is something truly special.
